It’s spring! Everything is brand new. A time when the snow is gone and the animals are out and about. A little bear named Eugene is eager to make friends, now in his mind this sounds great! But as he goes out in search of these new friends, Eugene gets stage fright. With every encounter, Eugene runs and hides, afraid to engage. That is until one special encounter gives him no choice to run!

When I was growing up I was shy. I always had a hard time when receiving attention. It was easier to hide. Putting yourself out there is hard sometimes but does get easier with practice. Believe in yourself, I do!
I wanted to create a fun book about the journey of friendship. It’s not just a story of a little bear looking for friends. It’s the journey that life takes us on in meeting those new friends, and what we learn about ourselves along the way.
